When we sold our 1,000th order, we decided to celebrate by giving one of our customers the opportunity to design their very own custom slime. The winner would get to create a slime exactly the way they wanted it, and then we would bring their creation to life and sell it in the shop.
That winner was Toxic City Slimer.
This slime is a celebration of Toxic City Slimer’s 1 year anniversary in the slime community. One year is such a special milestone, and we wanted this slime to feel like a little celebration in a jar.
For the base, we used our traditional paper clay, which is Leslie’s favorite texture from our shop. We made this one a light yellow lotion paper clay, giving it a slightly looser texture and allowing all of the add ins to settle beautifully into the slime. It’s creamy, thick, and makes those big, thunderous pops that we love so much from this texture. To contrast the soft yellow base, we added a pink slay swirl. The crust is made with lava rocks, adding an extra crunchy texture to the base.
Colorful celebration sprinkles, a little gold candle to mark the occasion, and a cupcake charm sitting inside a garden tub, because Leslie absolutely loves to garden.
The scent blend is Glazed Donuts, Vanilla Bean, Roasted Espresso, with a Touch of Cinnamon and Red Velvet. This might honestly be one of my favorite scent blends I’ve ever created. It smells like a warm bakery filled with donuts, coffee, vanilla, cinnamon, and something rich from the red velvet. It’s absolutely delicious.
