Over the years, my son has picked me flowers. They have ranged from being a little crushed in his tiny hands to ones he insisted I put in water and display proudly. Each one felt like a treasure because it came from him. I could never throw them away.
So I started saving them, gently keeping them inside glass mason jars. Each flower holds a piece of time. Those moments when his world was small and I was at the center of it. They’re more than flowers. They’re memories of sticky fingers, proud smiles, and the simple sweetness of being his mom.
One day, when he’s all grown and standing at the start of a new chapter, I’ll take one of those jars and give it to the person he loves. I’ll tell the story of all those years, of all those flowers he picked just because he loved someone so much. And then I’ll smile and say that it’s your turn. Now he gets to pick his flowers for you.
Picked with Love is a very special slime to me. It is our signature thick and glossy with a packed pumice crust. It has a lightly colored mossy topper and flower fimos to scatter on the top.
The charm is a small jar of flowers that is hand sourced of with 15 different types of wildflowers, each one unique. This gives you your own keepsake jar that are handmade by my son.
This slime is scented our lovely spring wildflower blend we used in Battle of the Flowers last year. It had a blend of Orange Blossom, Sun-Warmed Magnolia, Coconut Husk, Wildflowers, Haitian Vetiver & Sheer Amber.
Biscotti did such a lovely job on the label. It really showcases the tender love between a mom and her son.
